A Rant too far? Bring em on!
Never before have I had the opportunity to explore so many of the issues that occupy my mind on a daily basis in an engaing yet humorous and thought provoking fashion. The author has so succesfully compiled a series of topical, some may say controversial issues that are the very cornerstone of much conversation at bus stops, workplaces, doctors surgeries, pubs and one could go on! This book.is a must for those wanting to aire their views, exchange ideas or debate with others, be the life and soul at parties or just get something of their chest without fear of recrimination. It is definitely the start of something big, congratulations! Kev, UK

Critically examines many key issues for debate which have emerged from the current climate
An earnest and brave attempt to look under the surface of the social, political and economic forces that shape our everyday lives. This book is well researched and easy to read. Very refreshing. Alex, Bath, UK

An essential, invigorating read!
I found it difficult to stop reading this; many times I could have gone on and on if my train hadn't reached its destination or the bath water hadn't gone cold! I wouldn't really call this a book of "rants" - they are sustained, constructive, powerfuls attacks on the policies that govern the world we live in and our own attitudes and behaviour. I certainly questioned my own opinions and prejudices while reading this book, and have re-read several sections in order to reflect and ponder on issues which shouldn't be ignored. Brett, UK

A compelling, common-sense perspective
A Rant Too Far is an impassioned attempt to understand the influences brought to bear on a various areas of government. The book provides many convicing arguments on subjects such as personal rights, religion, the EU and "rip-off Britain". Obviously well-researched and not just a collection of soapbox rants (nor smug dinner party pontifications, thank God). The author is to be applauded for bringing together a wealth of material and rendering it intelligible and intelligent. Niall Buckley, Dublin
